Cultivating Corea

Opening Reception: July 30, 2022
Scott & Jae Gallery of Beverly Hills partnered with Helen & Jae Gallery of Seoul , emerged from the mission to bridge the art gap by spreading awareness of talented and emerging artists to the public. By creating this dynamic between two galleries across the globe, we’ve created a unique connection that brings us closer to our mission. Cultivating Corea: An Exploration of Korean Art is the introductory exhibition to our gallery and our introduction to Beverly Hills. We hope to develop meaningful interactions, interest, and appreciation for the collection of Contemporary Korean artists and their work.
Cultivating Corea" is a gallery show that honors the depth and diversity of Korean culture, exploring its journey from ancient traditions to modern interpretations. The exhibition reflects how art becomes a living bridge between past and present — preserving heritage, language, and craftsmanship, while also reimagining them for future generations. By showcasing works inspired by Korean history, symbolism, and aesthetics, the show invites viewers to engage with the values, resilience, and creative spirit that have shaped Korea through centuries of change. It is both a celebration of identity and an act of cultural stewardship, cultivating awareness, pride, and connection to Korea's enduring legacy.
